Project Coordination and management

This component is responsible for the overall management of the project ensuring that the project implementation is geared towards achievement of its objectives. The Ministry of Water and Irrigation(MoWI) is responsible for the overall project implementation as the Lead Project Agency (LPA).
The component activities include:

  • Preparation of Annual Work Plans and Budgets;
  • Timely submission of Withdrawal Applications for financial replenishments;
  • Ensuring compliance with Loan Covenants;
  • Guidelines for establishment and functioning of relevant coordinating committees at National, District, Division and Community levels
